Euphonium is such a funny name for a musical instrument. Yeah I invented the Goodsounder, and I called it that because it sounds good, not like *gestures to rest of orchestra* these shitbags

@funkula@goblin.camp @purplepadma@beige.party There is another instrument with basically the same name. The Euphon, invented by Ernst Chladni in 1791. It never caught on, because Franklin’s glass harmonica was still better in various ways. I sometimes wonder what the euphonium would’ve been called if the euphon had become a thing though.
