@timrichards@aus.social I did a trip with some (no longer) friends once that involved a plane every second day, tours, events. Three weeks of just zooming about Australia. We did a balloon over Alice Springs (gorgeous) and at the breakfast after I was chatting to two older couples who head off to travel every year. They block out two months and then just drive. Something interesting? They stop. Just packed up the van and are only 30 minutes down the road but this town looks nice? Stay the night. Oh that's the dream. I wanted to stowaway in their vans and not get on another bloody plane.
