@damonology@lgbtqia.space I don’t think most people really understand that trans masc folks exist. Doubly so in the US and Canada. And even in the UK where they’re much more the center of debate, I’m not actually convinced most people (even the obsessed like JKR) would know how to spot one. But there’s a lot of talk right now about “men” invading women’s spaces so it’s not surprising that’s where people go. We’ve already seen this hurt cis women who have PCOS or otherwise have more masc features or presentation. “You’re a man” is just the slur du jour. Not that any of this makes it okay. I’m really sorry you’re getting that leveled at you. People can be so incredibly cruel. 😢
