@FluentInFinance@mastodon.social just chatted with a chem engr friend of mine. The cooling that they want is done by evaporating water. So the real issue for them is what to do with what is left, the poisons, salts, PFAS, forever chemicals, etc. When they start with clean water what is left is mostly salts, and carbonates of one sort or another. As always, they want someone else to pay. They can concentrate more money if they dont have to spend it cleaning up what remains after evaporation.
