Random question: this "high-masking" autistic type - is that more common in folks who also have ADHD?
(Anecdotal evidence says maybe, and it would explain why I have such a hard time with the concept - I feel that my autistic experience is rather different from that of the AuDHD folks)

@quidcumque@rheinhessen.social I've heard some say that with AuDHD folks, the opposing traits mask each other until they don't, and that's why so many of us end up being late-diagnosed. But I don't have any scientific backing for that. But anecdotally what I've heard there's some legs on that.
