I've had a devil of a time getting my household interested in Linux, and I didn't want to force it. I tried that with siblings twenty years ago, and it was a mistake. But my 20-something son just had to disable Windows Defender to get a Steam game update to finish in less than two thirds of eternity. (Then he turned Windows Defender back on.) Microsoft is selling Linux for me.
