Bas-relief portrait of a woman from the Tomb of Ramose, in the Ancient Egyptian Necropolis of the nobles at Thebes, near Luxor, Egypt Liberated from the evil empire, but I couldn’t find a great summary page including this exact piece. Frustrating! Anybody have a good reference page for this one?

I know it’s not truly possible to tell but looks to be depicting a black African woman.

Hey I saw this tomb ! Very impressive and complete different from the ones around. It was the tomb of someone serving under Akhenaten hence the style. The tomb is actually unfinished and unpainted as the owner reverted to the traditional gods after the death of Akhenaten and built another tomb elsewhere.

Not sure what type of references you’re looking for, but there are some descriptions on the Wikipedia page of the tomb TT55. Based on the description, I would guess this is one of the reliefs showing his wife on the eastern side of the main hall. One of the sources says it depicts a banquet and that his wife was called Merit-Ptah (see also here; this page is about a different person but also mentions TT55). There are more images on Wikimedia Commons with some more in the “reliefs” subpage. This one looks like the one in your post.
