I was in Elon Musk's place once, at some point in my life, I can't remember exactly where or when. There was some last fragment of hope left over from the extremely forgotten days of earliest childhood before the evils came. And it broke open and died on me, probably because of something I did to it. I dropped it, broke it, was careless with it, whatever. The treatment I'd gotten destroyed my ability to form attachments with things. I have had to reteach myself...object permanence. I am here now so there must have been some intervening hand. Someone pulled me clear of total destruction, just as Kamen Rider Wizard runs around trying to save people from having their hopes crushed, their identity crushed. (cont'd)
