@DarkOptimism@mstdn.social It's a fractal variant, like the one I just pasted in. This song is adjacent to a genre called "filk", which is the folk (and rock and rap and chamber music and beat poetry and jazz and blues, but it started as a typo on 'folk') music of a community of science fiction and fantasy fans. The songs are about SF and fantasy stories, computers, cats, knitting, ghosts, vampires, pirates, space ships... and at least one about a pirate-busting ghost space ship... the community is hella diverse but we all agree that making the world better is a good thing, and _participatory_ music, even if it's just active listening, is a Good Thing. @lcamtuf@infosec.exchange
