@Tutanota@mastodon.social How about a system that you can volunteer to let your messages scan once. Sick minds abuse the privacy by doing illegal things (child abuse, AI porn with faces of people who don't want to, drugs, weapons, killing on order), and that group is growing fast, then it is hard to say i want full privacy for all. Social media algorithms make many people get into extreme in a negative way, that is something that wasn't their in the beginning of internet (before social media algorithms).

@Tutanota@mastodon.social So how is client side scanning to be implemented on systems such as Wire that can be used in a web browser without needing to have the Wire app installed on a phone first or not using a phone app at all? And what about open source secure chat apps such as qTox and Session? Will the projects be forced to implement client side scanning?
