I’m so proud of the new v4 Pixelfed mobile app, I wrote 4 custom expo modules (Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS) to handle a few unique features like on device language translations and the ability to select from multiple app icons. The media optimizer module was the hardest, and you won’t even tell, but it handles resizing media to the formats and size limits of your server without you even knowing. It’s details like this that separate your project to become the second biggest by MAU 🚀
