Is there a kind of "antinatalist Christianity" where people believe the reason Jesus hasn't returned is that people did not become celibate, and that we must stop having children to have Jesus return?

    @anselmschueler@ieji.de It's been a theme for some time. The Gospel of Matthew's Jesus was preaching to whip off your balls for God. Justin Martyr says his mate was writing to the governor for castration permission. Origen is said to have done this. The desert fathers and mothers, the monastic traditions, St Hildegarde interesting in this area too. Much of the early Christian tradition seem rather aware of ending the generational trauma of the flesh...but the Nicene machine and others like it need fresh flesh laid upon the alter of God at massive scale to retain power and the laity provide this.
