Imagine FLOSS devs getting paid enough to cover their daily rent and buy food or meds etc. What do taxpayers actually get in return when they buy Microsoft products? You will eventually be tricked into giving up your personal data for AI training, or ads will be shown in paid products because corporate greed knows no boundaries. The only way to win is not to use MS office or Windows or other IT services by Microsoft. All world governments should dump Microsoft.

@nixCraft@mastodon.social Humans need a shelter and food, and they're only possibly with money in the hyper-neoliberal world. For that, some people SHOULD work for companies like MS, and others also SHOULD use them to properly earn money. Typical neoliberal bullshit.
