The Australian government is asking for public consultation regarding "how AI should be developed, used, and governed in ways that advance our national interest". Anyone can make a submission, including organisations and members of the public. Submissions close on the 9th of October (2 weeksish from this post). NOTE that the privacy policy says they "may use approved artificial intelligence (AI) tools to identify themes, trends and common issues raised in submissions, generate summaries of consultation feedback, and support departmental analysis".
