Shifting in The fast and the Furious is funny. Im the first movies it be like: 1, 2, 4… (down, down again) or they discover the legendary 8th gear In some later movies the cars are automatic, but they still shift. Then the shifting is even more nonsensical, going from Drive mode to one of the manual gears (usually 1 or 2) or when down shifting they go to Reverse or Parking xD
