Wow private spaceflight companies are so much more efficient than publicly owned state-run spaceflight.
It took SpaceX just 21 years to get their heavy lift rocket into (early aborted) orbit.

@thomasfuchs@hachyderm.io to be fair it's the largest rocket ever launched with the most payload capacity and it's fully* reusable. despite the company being owned by a chud and timelines getting extended repeatedly I personally am in awe of what they've accomplished. I'm conflicted about starlink. reasonable internet speeds for a reasonable price in rural areas is a genuinely good thing. ruining the sky to do it is less good. *sometimes lol
