@huwr@aus.social @decryption@aus.social I hate being asked (or passively bullied) into moving on by someone waiting for a free table. I'm not someone who naturally dallies; when I'm finished, I'll go. That said, if pushed I will generally find there's time for another round of coffee, or an extremely leisurely glass of water. The whole point of cafes is to have a relaxed cuppa, and someone who would take that away from me gets to stew in their own impatience. The absolute cherry on top is if they get another table! Then I can immediately finish up, stand up, and leave. Bliss. Is that petty? Yes. Yes, it is.
