@analogfusion I guess it’s been studied? I wonder if there are patterns you could draw on a regular N95 that would confound. I also saw, when Wegman’s was in the news for doing facial recognition in stores, there were IR reflecting hats that flood the cameras.

@johnlehet I don't think this technology has been developed with that purpose in mind, but I've read other articles about clever ways of defeating those systems. I'm in favor of thwarting attempts by any business or government agency to ID the public. They have no intrinsic right to wholesale surveillance, and I have no obligation to make their job easier.
