Entering ski country! We stopped at a little county park to feed the pups a late lunch and discovered Whitecap Mountains Resort on the other side of the lake. Not much skiing going on here yet!
Some skiers may snicker at Whitecap's 400 feet of vertical, but they have 43 runs descending all sides! And both a chalet and a wine hut!

We're staying at a cabin by Big Powderhorn Mountain, which has a more respectable 600 feet of vertical, though fewer runs. There's a little community of homes and rentals at the base. When we discovered that "Husky House" was available for the week of our vacation, there really was no question where we were going to stay! 🐺 🧵 3/x
