Here's a first time post on my new Mastodon server. After a long absence, I re-entered the fediverse earlier this year on mstdn.social. I have since set up my own personal server on a VPS, and that makes me feel better because I can decide what I see and where it comes from.
I am a retired Catholic priest, currently taking care of my sister who has cancer, and working at a local parish to help with adult faith formation, OCIA, and Liturgy.

To that end, I'm working on exercise, having converted a corner of our family home basement into a gym of sorts with a treadmill (inherited from Mom), weights, and a heavy bag. I'm a huge boxing fan and love to box. I am hoping to get back to occasional sparring soon. Also, I love to cook. I'm a home cook, baker, and barbecue enthusiast. My back yard kitchen features a gas grill, kettle grill, griddle, and pellet smoker. You'll see some of my recipes if you follow me. [ more ⬇️ ]
