My main bank is the Halifax, which I moved back to after Lloyds screwed up with my current account in the late 70s. Now I find Lloyds have taken them over and the name itself is about to disappear. 3:O(> Barclays have also messed up their teffelone bonking - I used to be able to pay both credit cards off with one call - no longer: I now have to do the authentication dance on two separate calls, so will drop 1 card.
