Currently have only one 4TB HDD, but it’s been working nicely since I bought it a couple of months ago.

@erick@social.erick.sh thank you. But right now I think sticking with 2.5 HDDs connected via usb each probably is the easier low tech solution. And they're usually quieter than 3.5 drives which is probably worth the price
