I'm informed tonight that my Mom is also eligible for stem cell transplant surgery.
That type of cancer treatment surgery ended up saving one of my friend's lives. He had stage 4 cancer too. He's been cancer free over 3 years now. He's younger than Mom but not by much.

This is life saving, cancer treatment that BC public health covers, for cancer patients. They just no longer cover costs for family support accommodations. I'm going to need help to cover accommodations costs when Mom starts her liver transplant journey. She doesn't want to be alone during scariest part.
