What an interesting jouney computers have been for me.
"IBM Compatible? But I only know Apple." - circa '93. But I was off to the races in DOS in a couple hours.
"But I need Windows!" - circa '00. Not sure why I felt that way.
"LOL, I'd rather go back to paper than use something other than Linux" - Recently
"Hmm... I'm willng to poke around BSD" - present day.
Haven't actually attempted BSD yet, but it's on my list

@hellomiakoda@pdx.social I have openbsd installed on a laptop and bsd has been extremely painful for me regardless of which one I try It works now besides my wifi and printer and all that but I can at least get a working desktop Also it supports the Unix common desktop environment if that's your thing
