Good evening 🤍 Many of you here have come to know me as someone who has lived through this devastation, and who is still living under bombardment and displacement, trying every day to hold on to whatever remains of life. I am Nada, both a mother and a father to my children. My children’s father lost one of his eyes, while the other was severely damaged after he was injured while carrying out humanitarian work with the Ministry of Health. Because of this, I have become responsible for caring for my family and providing for their needs. I recently went through a severe health crisis that required special care. I am still trying to regain my strength, get back on my feet, and return to my work in university teaching, which I did for two years. But the road is not easy. Today, I am facing a major challenge in providing my medical necessities and food, as well as my children’s needs, especially with the beginning of the school year approaching and all the essential supplies it requires. We are not asking for luxuries, nor are we asking for more than what we need. We are simply asking for genuine support to help us meet urgent, essential, and deeply personal needs during this difficult time.
