While I am no expert, I am not convinced by the "repeatedly" part of the tweet, but I think there are questions to be answered about that detail which cannot be brushed aside with an angry "our officers were so very very brave, how dare you question us" response. Police need to be trusted and need to be reasonable. Yes we don't have operational understanding, but that does look weird so explain... Or accept the officer fucked up and do something about it #UKPol

    The other day I said that I was glad that the police were being explicit about it being treated as potential hate crime and terrorism (although I haven't seen or heard about why) so they could get potential additional resources, but the flip side is that you have to be open and honest and not hide behind the classification to justify all actions... We've seen with Palestine Action how terrorism categorisation can be used to chilling and extreme effect #UKPol
