Don't have medical insurance? When you receive the bill for medical services *do not pay it* immediately. Go to the hospital's website & look for a tab that says "Financial Assistance" -call the phone number provided. Have your "guarantor" or patient number ready along with the invoice number. Say "I do not have insurance & received this bill. I'm willing to pay the amount in full this week." My hospital gives a 20% discount + a 15% discount for a "quick pay". #uspol #healthcare #america
