if you don't want to be mistaken for scammers or spambots, please don't act like them.
this behavior includes, but is not limited to:
- sending unsolicited DMs to people who've boosted your posts in the past
- repeatedly sending follow requests to someone when your first follow request is denied

@LexYeen@plush.city especially that last one holy fuck. I've started blocking people because of it, it's the main reason I wish you could turn off follows entirely on GTS, and it's also what makes me want GTS to add domain blocking so fucking badly. Like genuinely I have denied follow requests from the same few people every second day recently. It's part of why I don't even check my notifications anymore
