I just remembered a time when I had gotten a BrailleSense Polaris. This was before the 6 came out which is what I have now. And that one was a school district Polaris, not my state-provided personal 6 like I have now. But that's not the point. The point is, the Polaris was still very new. And I remembered being curious as to what would happen, if one were to backup and reset the device from the Android side. The result? The unit couldn't boot to its main OS. They connected it to HDMI, and let's just say, it was asking for a SIM card and/or to be activated. The thing was, the Polaris was actually running a phone version of Android. Not a tablet like the 6 and 7. This meant that you actually had phone apps on there, you could access hotspot settings, cellular settings... it was basically a phone housed in a tablet. And at that time, the Polaris had no idea how to work in direct tandem with Android. This meant that you had to backup and restore using Selvas' way. It's an amusing memory, think it happened when I was in eighth grade? Going into ninth? I can't remember.
