@star@fed.amazonawaws.com I've made more moderate and well mannered posts on this subject as well. I'm exhausted from the constant onslaught of AI hype and "this will replace the old way" retoric, and sometimes I get angry about it. Sorry that I have the privilege of having taught myself programming with no teachers and nothing but documentation, and being able to choose not to pay billionaires to have their computer do it for me. This makes AI influencers angry at me and so I become angry at them. I disagree with the assessment that they are less privileged than me. Of course I'm generalizing. I'll reiterate that I'm talking about the people promoting AI in order to take away personal computing, and apologize again that I put my disclaimer in a reply and not at the top of the OP.
