ironically imperial only makes sense at small scales where you can say "oh yeah this tube is an inch" or "this socket is 1/2 in" because an inch is a nice size generally, you can look at something that's an inch or two and think "that's sturdy" whereas 2cm would not be very sturdy

@meso@new.asbestos.cafe The USA does not use imperial - it uses US customary units. What kind of garbage materials are you using that 20mm isn't sturdy, but 25.4 mm is? Really, 20mm is about the right size - 25.4mm is slightly too big.
