@TechConnectify@mas.to I watch every one of your videos, including your second channel, TC*. I like them a lot.
I just don't think video is the right medium for tutorials in particular. In a tutorial, I want to be able to skim and find the one thing I don't remember, to jump back and forth, to pause just by not moving my eyes instead of complex, coordinated finger gestures.
That's just usability. Not being a stick in the mud.
*I'm calling you "TC" because you don't give us a name to use.

@nitpicking@mstdn.party @TechConnectify@mas.to A video might not be the best refresher for That One Detail, but it's a great way to learn a bunch of things about a subject. If I forgot which screw was which on my door closer, I would absolutely look it up in an article. If I wanted to introduce a friend to the concept of door closers beyond "that thing on the door", I would absolutely send them the video. Different media for different things. Don't bash a video for being something it's not.
