Conservatism is not just right of center. Conservatism is monarchism. Liberalism is mercantilism. Communism is class dissolutionism.
When Liberalism requires and promotes directing money towards a commons to aid the poor, it’s still not on the Left, it’s just trying to prevent rebellion. They’re called concessions.

In this context you’re wrong. OP talks about the economic distribution scale of politics (for capitalism to be relevant), where (fiscal) conservatism stands in opposition to socialism. There are plenty other ways to divide ideologies, but capitalism is irrelevant to most of them, including the one you’re proposing (power distribution?)

If conservatism was monarchism and liberalism was mercantilism that is what they’d be called. They’re different and it matters especially when discussing these concepts specifically together. It’s like calling pink red or turquoise blue. They’re related but they are not the same and we don’t call them the same for a reason.
