#MutualAidRequest to help a homeless disabled trans couple stay sheltered Goals (due by 11am MST Sept 14): $0/$65 (one night) $0/$130 (two nights) Daily Shelter post: @LukeOrion@indiepocalypse.social and I still haven’t made up the $50 we had to take from our car savings, but at this point need to worry about staying inside. We need to raise at least $65 by tomorrow morning to keep staying inside. REALLY hoping that we start getting some more support again soon. We would be outside A LOT recently if not for us using the car savings, and now the car savings are half of what it’s supposed to be. We really need our community to start showing up for us again so that we can finally get a chance at escaping homelessness and getting back on our feet. Luke and I are a disabled and trans couple that has been dealing with homelessness for over a year now. We’re trying to stay sheltered at an extended stay hotel, and get by until the end of the month when we’ll be able to move back to South Dakota and be sheltered again. Please boost for us, thank you!
