'The Autonomous Garden' is the last food project I worked on in New England. This urban food forest grows enough pears, peaches, plums, rhubarb, & strawberries for the year in addition to seasonal salad greens, potatoes, and tomatoes. All for the cost of a few stolen lawn bags and homemade compost. The houses 10kw solar system creates surplus energy for one unit in the multifamily home. Rainwater catchment and mulch buried swales allow the gardens to survive 60 days of drought (tested).
