Notink is my favourite Emacs colour scheme as of now. https://github.com/MetroWind/notink-theme Remember, if your colour scheme looks like rainbow vomit, you really should reconsider your life choices. Colours only needs to attract your attention to what's important, and if everything on your screen is highlighted, nothing really is.

  • Want to see the legitimate use of colour in code? Here. My only complaint about this colour scheme is that the comments are too washed out. Someone wrote them, they must be important and thus need to stand out.

To efficiently navigate around you have to be able to tell where the variable name starts from two metres away using colours only, without seeing actual characters. If I wanted code that looks like a monolith, I'd print it on a continuous roll of paper, but we are not at an 80s themed costume party. Sadly :marseyemojismilemouthtighteyes:

@icon_of_computational_sin@mstdn.starnix.network Aside from the contrast being too low I really like this theme
