yay, I can author weblogs in markdown now with minimal fuss. All I need to do after running things through pandoc is strip the HTML tags from the blosxom decorations at the head (the first line is the article title, and a second "comment" line gives an icon for it. pandoc encloses this in <p> ... </p> cause it looks to markdown like a paragraph) I had to massage the code block to make it align properly. It got everything else right in my test of the basics.
