Apparently family and friends of the aunt who gifted me all the DDR yarn remnants that I wove into the scarf, have been telling stories to each other as they visit. They have used the same yarns, if not the main balls of the remnants I wove with, and have many stories about the items they made pre '89. This scarf is prompting many special days for my elderly relatives! #weaving #FiberArts
