Wow PHPStorm got so bad that at work, renaming any variable simply deletes every other occurrence without showing the rename popup. Good job with all that goddamn slop. I don't even have the mental energy to file a bug report.
I really hope that JetBrains bankrupts when the bubble bursts or even before. People need to connect actions to consequences at some point. We need plenty of examples so others might learn.

@afilina@phpc.social it is soooo weird to me to finally see people hate on jetbrains. i've been against it for a long time purely because its written in java and takes an hour to load. my hate for things tends to be so stalwart that eventually people always end up on my side if i just wait 25 years. the java angle is because of how absolutely sore my arse is still after being forced to use php eclipse at my first job. (and by "using" eclipse i mean watching it crash every 40 seconds)
