We got married a year or so ago and we were shocked by the number of Moray/Aberdeenshire vendors who never responded to us, or ghosted after an introductory call. We were admittedly trying to pull off a pretty ambitious event within a fairly short planning window, but it was like pulling hens teeth to get quotes out of some folk.
