Basically I make way more on Bandcamp and Mirlo than streaming and even then I don’t make that much there either
I wonder if a different approach is necessary. Like I’ve toyed with the idea of making my albums “rolling releases” that people can fund as I release more songs on them, or going purely pay-what-you-want just to get more folks collecting it, but each of those lead to other big problems.

Of course the big error is in equating income with worthiness but it’s at least an indirect indicator of how much people are listening to my stuff and also I regret to inform you that I exist in a capitalist society much to my chagrin
