Tech companies and groups, including
Windscribe, Tailscale, Coinbase Canada, Nord Security, and Tucows, have sent a joint letter to Ministers Anandasangaree and Joly on #BillC22. They say the bill as drafted will erode trust in 🇨🇦's tech sector!

Their main concerns: - Up to 6 months of mandatory metadata retention, creating hacker "honeypots" that clash with privacy-first design. -It could force weakened #encryption or interception tools! -"Core provider" is undefined, and secret ministerial orders could hit non-core firms too.
