Deconstructing #FishChowder tonight. A customer brought me some brined and smoked gurnard fillets. To be cooked the #Scottish way (pan fry one side, poach in full fat milk the other) and then poach an egg in the sauce. Served with baked onion, pan fried baked potato. Am spectacularly mellow from an #OldFashioned made from local rye whiskey (brought by another customer today) and chased with medicinal brownie. Not sure if there will be food pictures… Again, thanks be to the Universe. It has been a full and good day.
