Alright I'm gonna stop the horror stuffs for a moment because something so baffling rolled across my invidious feed extremely unrelated to inside job (fire show btw)
It was "MIT explains the 12 possible endings for ai"
And I'm sitting here like "Uh huh, okay kinda crack pot theories"
Which some kinda feel like they are but at the end of the day even if we loved ai and nurtured it like a new race it'd still kill itself because if it wasn't clear already, ai data centers would of nuked the shit out of the environment to a point where we wouldn't exist which is very bad for ai since we can't give them more data or physical bodies
And currently, ai is just a more advanced autocomplete at it's current form, it'll take quite a few generations for it to even become a newborn race that'll join us
Why are people overhyping this stuff anyway? Qwq
Also total yap and I may just be wrong entirely but it's just so baffling to me..
