@txt_file @TechConnectify It doesn't double the power but quadruples it, as explained 10 minutes into the video. The resistance is unchanged, twice the voltage means twice the current for a given resistance, power is voltage times current.

@txt_file The heating element is a simple resistance R. Ohm's law is U=I*R, or I=U/R, so the current is voltage divided by resistance. By doubling the voltage, the current is doubled as well, so (2*U)/R=2*I. For power we have P=U*I, as power is current times voltage. And with (2*U)*(2*I), we have 4*P, so the power quadruples. @TechConnectify
