I never understood VRChat. I messed around with it back in the days, because that was one of the things you just did when you got a VR headset, but I always ran into weird little kids and minigames that got boring after 20 minutes.

The whole point is talking to other people. At this point you can start 18 plus lobbies so you don't have to deal with the children anymore. Most people spend time in game worlds, hangout worlds, and karaoke worlds.
