@yosh@toot.yosh.is I also see it as a difficult position given my general freedom of information stance. Though I think an aspect of it is the closed information derivative, I would have less problems with that singular aspects of LLMs if the resulting model weights would be equally open information. With them being closed it feels like laundering open information into closed information.
