#Facebook and #mastodon are two totally different realities. On here, you have #trans people message you "Oh, I'm trans" What? I would have NEVER guessed that in a million years. Someone on Facebook "I'm trans". No, no you're an ugly man in a dress. I don't think people realize blending is the entire point of being trans. The POINT is nobody would ever know or imagine that.

@praetor@mstdn.social @lgbtq@newsmast.community Blending is so not the entire point. Passing privilege is nice and all but it’s not evenly distributed and, safety aside, nobody HAS to pass. Being trans is just being yourself, but outside the box you were assigned at birth. You erase trans men and non binary people here and ignore that transition is a dynamic process. Your ‘ugly’ says more about you than the women you’re insulting and shows you’re just another captive of Meta’s outrage economy. Wanna try harder?
