Fantastic piece from the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust about the return from the brink of extinction of Ithumba's Wild Dogs! "Each individual coat pattern is completely distinct, but collectively, their colours allow them to blend as one with the bush. To their prey, the pack in pursuit must be a chilling sight indeed — as though the landscape has sprung to life in an amorphous force, snapping at their heels." #Africa #Wildlife #WildDogs #Nature #Animals https://mailchi.mp/sheldrickwildlifetrust/fieldnotes-september2026
