I tried… Comcast would “forget” the modem 3 times a month and would have to call and read them the MAC address again etc… fuck Comcast

What if you just use it as a pass through by plugging it into their router and then wrap theirs in foil?

So glad I was able to get an alternate ISP. A good chunk of my life, Comcast was the only high speed ISP in the area.
